Councillors are summoned and the public are invited to attend a meeting of New Buckenham Parish Council at the Village Hall, Moat Lane ,New Buckenham on Tuesday 13th September at 7.30pm

      1.Apologies: To consider apologies for absence

  

       2.Minutes: To approve the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 12th July 2022 as a correct record

      3.Matters Arising: To receive reports on matters arising from the Parish Council minutes. Update on BOAT deferred from July's meeting. 

     

      4.Declarations of Interest: To record declarations of interests not already recorded in the current Members’ Register of Interests                and to consider requests for dispensation.

      5.Public participation: To suspend the meeting to enable public participation, including:

       a. Attendance by County Broadband representative to update on plan and progress and parish council to clarify any known       Wayleave details.

       b. District and County Councillor Report 

       c. Chair and Parish Councillor Reports-update on defibrillator and Village Gateway progress.

       d.Parishioners’ Comments & Questions

 

     6.Financial Matters:

        a. To receive August bank reconciliation.

        b. To approve September Payments.

        c.  To review the amenities costings report, (cemetery, allotments and cricket pitch) agreeing any changes with timescales for                      implementation.

        d. Future external audits SAAA opt out

        Does the council wish to opt out of the next round of 5 year audit appointments?

       

     7.Planning: To consider planning applications received since the last meeting and to note planning decisions notified since last                                       meeting.

 

     8.Amenities: To consider any issues raised regarding the following:

       a. Grounds Maintenance to consider maintenance requirements from 2023.

       b. Closed Churchyard: Quinquennial Report

       c. Cemetery

       d. Allotments

       e. Play Area/ cricket pitch

        f. Public Footpaths Notification of the following for Rangers to address week commencing 19th September

  •         Potholes

  • Regular incidents of standing or flooding water

  • Signs-ensuring visibility and good condition of Highway signs, removal of illegal signs

  • Paths-siding out and ensuring a safe surface for the user

  • Public Rights of Way-maintaining clear access within the village boundary

     9.Implementation of the Neighbourhood Plan

     10. Succession Planning- Carried forward from July.

        

     11.Village Hall open day

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Tuesday 11th October 2022.
