Councillors are summoned and the public and press are invited to attend a Meeting of  New Buckenham Parish Council at the Village Hall, Moat Lane, New Buckenham on
Tuesday 11th July 2017 at 7.30pm

1. Apologies: To consider accepting apologies for absence 

2. Minutes: To approve the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 13th June 2017 as a correct record

3. Matters Arising: To receive reports of matters arising from those Minutes, and not covered elsewhere on the agenda: for update and information only 

4. Declarations of Interest:

(a) To record declarations of interests not already recorded in the current Members’ Register of Interests 

​(b) To remind councillors that it is their responsibility to keep their declarations of interest up to date, and to notify the clerk of any changes to their circumstance that require a change to their declared interests.

5. Public Participation

To adjourn the meeting to allow public participation including:

(a) Parishioners’ Comments & Questions 

(b) District Councillor Report

(c) County Councillor Report

 6. Planning (Clerk)

To consider planning applications and to receive District Council’s decisions made on any planning applications received before the meeting (list attached).


7. Financial Matters (Clerk):

(a) To receive a financial report from the Clerk

(b) To approve the renewal of the Council's insurance policy 

(c)To approve payments as per the attached list

(d)To formally approve the 2016/17 accounts 

(e)To receive a report on the 2016/17 and 2017/18 Budgets


8. Neighbourhood Plan (MM)

To receive a report from the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group


9. Village Hall Trust AGM

To note that the New Buckenham Village Hall Trust AGM is on Tuesday 18 July 2017 (letter attached). To appoint the Parish Council’s nominee to the trust for 2017/18 (currently Cllr Bingham)


10. Amenities 
To receive updates (where available) on the following:

(a) Cemetery (including a report back on training course attended by the Clerk and Cllr Chirodian)

(b) Allotments (Clerk/BC)

(c) Closed Churchyard (AB/BC) (note – a meeting at the Churchyard with Norfolk Wildlife Trust has been arranged for 6pm on Thursday 13th July, to which all interested parties are welcome)

(d) Play area

(e) Cricket Pitch


11. Projects:

(a) Street Lighting Project – update (Clerk)

(b) Notice Board (SH)

(c) Community Car Scheme

12. Project Fund

To note that no further grant applications have been received by the end of the quarter ended 30 June 2017.
