2. Minutes: To approve the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 13th  February 2018 as a correct record

 

3. Matters Arising: To receive reports of matters arising from those Minutes, and not covered elsewhere on the agenda: for update and information only 
 

4. Declarations of Interest:

To record declarations of interests not already recorded in the current Members’ Register of Interests ​

5. Public Participation

To adjourn the meeting to allow public participation including:

(a) Parishioners’ Comments & Questions 

(b) District Councillor Report

(d) Parish Councillor Report
 

6. Financial Matters 

(a) To receive a financial report to 28 February 2018 

(b) To approve payments for March

(c) To consider a further report on the Clerk's Hours and expenses

 

 7. Planning

There are no new planning applications within the Parish received since the last meeting. There has been one application for discharge of conditions  regarding 3DC/2018/0040/DOC (Pickwick House (now Beck Cottage, Grange Rd) relating to materials used. (Follow this link for details). 

Similarly the only recent planning decision affecting the Village was one relating to tree works on a tree subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) at Green Point, Castle Hill (TRE/2018/0034/TCA) (Follow this link for details)

8. Neighbourhood Plan 

 

To discuss any relevant issues relating to the Neighbourhood Plan

 

9.  Amenities 
To receive updates (where available) on the following:

(a) Cemetery 

(b) Allotments 

(c) Closed Churchyard  

(d) Play area

(e) Village Hall

10. Grounds Maintenance and Cricket Club Rental 

 

To consider a report on the Grounds maintenance contract and the Cricket Club annual rent (attached). 

 

11. Projects - to receive updates where appropriate on:

(a) Street Lighting Project 

(b) Community Car Scheme
 

12. Correspondence

To note correspondence received by post and email since the last meeting 

13. Next Meeting - The next meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Tuesday 10th April   2018 at 7.00pm (The April meeting is normally followed by the Annual Parish Meeting at 8pm (approx)). The Annual Parish Meeting is open to all electors in the parish of New Buckenham and is not the same as the Annual Parish Council Meeting, (usually held in May), at which the Parish Council elects its Chairman for the ensuing year. The Annual Parish Meeting can be held later in the year, or on a different day from the Parish Council meeting if Councillors prefer.
