1. Apologies: To consider accepting apologies for absence 
 

2. Minutes: To approve the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 12th September 2017 as a correct record

 

3. Matters Arising: To receive reports of matters arising from those Minutes, and not covered elsewhere on the agenda: for update and information only 
 

4. Declarations of Interest:

To record declarations of interests not already recorded in the current Members’ Register of Interests ​

5. Public Participation

To adjourn the meeting to allow public participation including:

(a) Parishioners’ Comments & Questions 

(b) District Councillor Report

(c) County Councillor Report

(d) Parish Councillor Report
 

 6. Planning (Clerk)

To consider planning applications and to receive District Council’s decisions made on any planning applications received before the meeting (list attached).

 

7. Financial Matters (Clerk):

(a) To receive a financial report from the Clerk

(b) To note that the audit of the Council's accounts for 2016/17 has been completed. The relevant documents are now available on the Council's website

(c) To consider whether to close the Town Houses Account and transfer the funds to one of the Councils other two accounts.

(d) To receive a half-yearly report on the budget (to follow)

(e) To approve payments as per the attached list

8. Neighbourhood Plan (MM)

To receive a report from the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group (attached)

 

9.  Amenities 
To receive updates (where available) on the following:

(a) Cemetery 

(b) Allotments 

(c) Closed Churchyard  

(d) Play area

(e) Cricket Pitch

10. Projects:

(a) Street Lighting Project 

(b) Community Car Scheme
 

11. Project Fund

To note that an application from the New Buckenham Silver Band has been received for a grant of just over £2,000 for the purchase of new equipment. This has been passed to the Community Project Fund for consideration.


13. Correspondence

To note correspondence received by post and email since the last meeting ( list attached)

14. Clerk

(a) To receive an oral report from the Chair on the Clerk's probationary period

(b) To receive an oral update on any relevant matters not covered elsewhere on the agenda
